Deblurring (iDeb)
Imatrics Deblurring (iDeb), on which Imatrics holds an international patent [1], efficiently sharpens blurred images. Blurring in digital images may be due to a number of causes:
- Out of focus.
- Movement.
- The propagation medium (normally the atmosphere).
- Imperfections in the optics.
Examples and applications:
- Simplification of optical systems: iDeb makes it possible to reduce costs in designing and manufacturing the optics of capture devices while maintaining or even enhancing final image quality.
